The old you rides shotgun
The new year beckons. And so does a new you.
Three hundred and sixty-five days of lessons, of learnings. Of jumpscares, of panic attacks—of never-again’s and know-better-now’s.
January 1 beckons. And so does a new you.
You deserve every bit of this season of change. You aren’t who you were a December 31st ago, and never underestimate the courage that requires; to alchemize every harsh truth and painful lesson into something worthwhile— into a new body, a new mindset, a sturdier soul. That’s what you did, all year long.
And so now, a new year beckons. And so does a new you.
My only ask is that in all this beautiful, refreshing newness; in the midst of your fresh starts and clean slates, you are kind, you are loving and you are gentle to the old you.
